TPLI  Metal Casting Industries Sdn Bhd newest product “TP” brand Ductile Iron Pipes. Strategic Planning and setup essential to produced a well Quality Controlled product. Fully In-house production design ensures every piece of pipes comply with Standard and also Customer requirements.  

For over 30 years active involvement in Iron Casting Field, we have experienced and mastering the Iron Foundry Skills to perfect any impurities in Ductile Iron Pipes production.

“TP” Ductile Iron Pipes which complying with BS EN 545: 2006 and being certified by 3rd Certification Party as well as National Water Authorities, Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Air Negara (SPAN). Pipes which achieved minimum of 420N/mm² Tensile Strength and minimum 10% of elongation. Sizing from DN 100 till DN 600 in diameter and standard length of 6 meters. 

In order to maintain and continue improve; TPLI had been awarded Quality Management System, ISO 9001: 2008 by Moody’s International.

Materials Introduction
Ductile iron, also called Spheroidal graphite (SG), or nodular cast iron. While most varieties of cast iron are brittle, ductile iron is much more flexible and elastic, due to its nodular graphite inclusions.

In ductile iron the graphite is in the form of spherical nodules rather than flakes, thus inhibiting the creation of cracks and providing the enhanced ductility that gives the alloy its name.

    Centrifugal applied cement mortar lining give a better cement mortar compaction, good adhesion and smooth surface flow area

    Centrifugally cast enhance the strength of the pipe. With relative wall thickness, the pipe can withstand high internal pressure of up to 5.0MPa. Ductility and flexibility of Ductile Iron increase the load resistance and good bending strength of the pipe.

    1st Layer - Zinc Coating
    Protect the pipe by forming a stable protective layer of insoluble zinc salts. It also has self-healing characteristics of any damage and therefore, increases the life span of the pipe.

    2nd Layer - Bituminous Coating
    Further enhance the corrosion resistance of the pipe. Also serve as a finishing coat.


    Connection Type

    Flexible Joint
    Also known as Socket-Spigot joint, extremely strong and efficient leak-tightness and allow flexibility upto 5° deflection in any direction. Those assembly method advantages over fast jointing and no space restriction even in hardy environment.

    Flanged Ended
    Flanged Ended pipe in such a way directly attached to flanges whose dimensions and tolerance comply with BS EN 1092-2. This ensures interconnection between all flanged components of the same PN and DN and achieved adequate joint performance.
